Abstract    
The ? Harmony ? within design and designers would be to accept all the cultures, all the differences, all the beliefs in order to  create (economic and spiritual) wealth for all ?Harmony ? is a political model in which all the people could live together with no fear for his/her life and his or her happiness. ? Harmony ? is a utopia and ? Utopia ? is a country of creators.Chinese universities of design and creation should, more than others, create what they want for China, for the world, in a sense of ? Harmony ?and peace. By essence, the Olympics strive to garantee peace and Harmony for all the countries participating. It is a fantastic opportunity to compete,to learn from the others, to improve oneself, to become better. Design andOlympism are tied by essence, in that they are both humanistic.Is competition virtuous in the country of Harmony? Of course, yes. Yes.because competition is the opportunity to show one’s singularity, to mark the difference, to signify the humanity of each of us. Harmony is a way to manage the differences between people, not to erase them. In the ?globalization ? of culture and economy, to be singular, to be different is revolutionary. Design and creation teach that to us. Let’s conclude with the words of the ? French-Lithuanian ? Emmanuel Levinas : ? Morals make us feel sorry for those who are hungry, Ethics oblige us to feed them ?. All  designers must have those words in mind, in China and elsewhere, to define what may be their responsibilities.

和諧之于設(shè)計(jì),意味著設(shè)計(jì)師需要接受其他的所有文化,所有的分歧,所有的信仰,以便能為全人類(lèi)創(chuàng)造(經(jīng)濟(jì)與精神上的)財(cái)富。和諧是一種政治模式,在這個(gè)模式下所有人都能和諧共生,無(wú)所畏懼。?和諧?是一個(gè)烏托邦,?烏托邦?是一個(gè)國(guó)家的創(chuàng)作者。    
中國(guó)的設(shè)計(jì)大學(xué),應(yīng)比其他國(guó)家創(chuàng)造的更多,為中國(guó),為世界,創(chuàng)造他們想要的,從而創(chuàng)造一定意義上的?和諧?與和平。本質(zhì)上說(shuō),奧運(yùn)會(huì)的努力是為了保證所有國(guó)家和平與和睦的參與。這是一個(gè)神圣的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)機(jī)會(huì), 學(xué)習(xí)別人,來(lái)提高自身素質(zhì),從而成為更好的。設(shè)計(jì)和奧林匹克主義都受本質(zhì)束縛,因?yàn)樗鼈兌际侨宋摹?在和諧的國(guó)家是否存在良性的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)?當(dāng)然,肯定的。是因?yàn)楦?jìng)爭(zhēng)是顯示人類(lèi)甚至我們每個(gè)人個(gè)性和差異的機(jī)會(huì)。    
和諧是管理協(xié)調(diào)人類(lèi)分歧的一種方法,而不是扼殺它們。在? 全球化?的文化與經(jīng)濟(jì)中,獨(dú)樹(shù)一幟,和而不同,是具有革命意義的。設(shè)計(jì)與創(chuàng)意教導(dǎo)我們?nèi)绾稳プ觥?   
讓我們以列維納斯?法國(guó)-立陶宛籍?的話(huà)結(jié)束: ?道德讓我們同情忍受饑餓的人,倫理迫使我們幫助他們? 。所有設(shè)計(jì)師必須把這些話(huà)銘記在心,在中國(guó)和其他任何地方,那是對(duì)他們責(zé)任的界定。

Part I: Design imposes itself on Humankind, society and economy    
What we will be tomorrow?    
Design is a creative discipline. Creating means going beyond what already exists. By overstepping “what already is” design compels us to reflect upon what we will be tomorrow. Designers shape the world along the line of a progress-oriented logic. They address the fundamental issue of what we will leave behind, of what world we will pass on to our children.
Design gives significance to the “global world”    
Design aims to give meaning to what surrounds us. In an era when globalization brings down all fences, boundaries, it questions meaning, identity, culture and faith while forcing us to “take the other into account”. The other imposes him/herself on us and is pleased to add up to his personal culture in doing so. Design produces meaning in a world where belief sharing shakes all our cultural landmarks and enforces new, more consistent ones.
An economic discipline…    
In an economic background, design enables one to produce wealth, development, and progress. The economic emergence of countries such as China, India, Brazil… and other countries with low labor and production costs forces us to resort to creation, innovation and design to seek new means to generate value-added and to maintain activity, employment rate, social services in Western economies born from the nineteenth century Industrial Revolutions. Design lies at the heart of corporate issues rooted either in tactics
